NAESS Cares + Ultraship CSR Updates

NAESS Cares, the charitable arm of Naess Shipping Philippines, Inc., together with UltraShip Crewing Philippines, Inc. work hand-in-hand to achieve their similar vision: To help communities and institutions that require assistance in times of need.

Last May 8, 2019, two (2) wheelchairs were donated to Create a Job for the Disabled Association, Inc., a duly registered non-stock, non-profit, legitimate and credible entity recognized by DSWD, for their “Gintong Landas Project 2019” aiming to give assistive devices to youth and elderly persons with disabilities such as polio patients, cerebral palsy children, and stroke patients.

Naess Cares and UltraShip also participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2019 at Magalipit Elementary School, Rodriguez, Rizal last May 22, 2019. For this program, they donated materials, good lumber, plywoods, paints, concrete nails, etc., to put-up partitions/divisions for five (5) classrooms of the school. Before, only thin sheets of curtains separate one classroom from the other making it hard for the students to focus on their lectures. Now that partitions are in place, the teachers of MES will be able to increase the level of concentration of students during lectures thus maximizing the academic outcomes.
